Why does Day Light look for blue light and “Nite Light” look for total ambient light?

LightTrak consists of both Day Light and “Nite Light” and measures both ambient and day light 24/7. The Day Light threshold is based on blue light because, according the scientific and medical communities, that is the wavelength that most influences your circadian rhythm. The “Nite Light” threshold is based on ambient light because, according the scientific and medical communities, getting too much light of any kind right before bedtime has an affect on your sleep.
